COVID-19 Updates

ARBEST is closely monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic. Out of concern for the safety of trainees and the communities we serve, in adherence with current social distancing guidelines from the State of Arkansas, and in line with recommendations from national treatment developers, the following changes and updates have been made:

Training Cancellations

Child Parent Psychotherapy, Little Rock, AR, July 21-24, 2020 is CANCELLED. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes and encourage registrants to watch the ARBEST Facebook page and subscribe to the ARBEST newsletter for news on future training opportunities.

Ongoing Trainings

If you are a trainee on ongoing consultation calls or scheduled for a follow-up training in June or July, please contact your trainer for further information on potential changes to training format or dates. ARBEST is making every effort to continue support to current trainees so that training progress can continue during these uncertain times.

Virtual Trainings

ARBEST is following national treatment guidelines as it pertains to delivering training virtually. Some Introductory TF-CBT trainings are being rescheduled in a virtual format and are reserved for those already registered for previous trainings that were cancelled. If you were registered for an April or July Introductory TF-CBT training, you will be contacted about this opportunity.

Telehealth Support

ARBEST encourages the use of telehealth to provide continued mental health services for children and families in need during this time. The following telehealth recommendations were developed by ARBEST for each evidence-based trauma treatment:
