Cognitive Processing Therapy

CPT is a highly-effective cognitive-behavioral treatment for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) in adults. It has been shown to be effective in reducing PTSD symptoms related to a variety of traumatic events. CPT is endorsed by the U.S. Departments of Veterans Affairs and Defense as a best practice for the treatment of PTSD. In order to expand services for caregivers and other adults in the state with trauma histories, ARBEST began offering an annual CPT training workshop in 2019.
